If you are running your own wedding rehearsal, and don't have a coordinator there to help you out, here are a few quick things to take note of so that the rehearsal proceeds smoothly, and your wedding party knows what they're doing:
1. The Ushers/Groomsmen The groomsmen often do double-duty as ushers, but if you have separate ushers, ask your groomsmen to stay with the groom and keep him calm prior to the ceremony. Give the following list to your ushers/groomsmen prior to the rehearsal: |

You've spent a great deal of time and money planning your reception meal, from appetizer to aperitif. You've created a special signature cocktail and given it a cute name that's representative of you and your fiance. Your DJ is widely reputed to be the best in town, and you've spent hours agonizing over the "must play" and "do not play" music lists. You've even convinced your future husband (or wife) that spending time NOW on your thank you speech is important. |

Unmistakably You had the pleasure of being part of the Divine Detailswedding show at the Four Points Sheraton last Sunday, February 27. It was truly a pleasure to meet and chat with so many brides, mothers of brides, and even some grooms. I look forward to having the chance to work with many of you! There's clearly a reason why Unmistakably You does not do photography! However, we excel at custom stationery, candy buffet rentals and coordination, and decor. |

Hi, and thanks for checking in with Unmistakably You, where my philosophy is "your wedding, your way". My goal as a wedding planner is to help engaged couples realize their visions for their special day, and to have truly unique weddings that speak to their interests and passions. I have been to a lot of weddings in my life, and have seen the same invitations, decor, food, and flowers done over and over again. There are many reasons for the "cookie-cutter wedding phenomenon", which I'll touch on below, but I truly believe that your wedding should be reflective of yours and your fiance's personalities. |
