Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and were as blessed as I was! To those of you newly engaged, congratulations! If you're a first-time reader, welcome! As tends to happen at the beginning of the year, there's been much talk in the wedding world lately of trends for 2012. Pantone has announced that the "colour of the year" for 2012 is Tangerine Tango, a juicy, rich and red-based orange that is sure to appear in many a wedding in 2012. In my next life, I think I'd like to become a florist, so I've compiled some beautiful photos of bouquets that incorporate this fun colour, and given you a series of colour palettes that show how you can incorporate tangerine tango in your wedding, regardless of the theme or feel you're going for. Enjoy! Elegant Tangerine, crisp white Rustic Tangerine, olive, wheat Vintage (consider using brooches rather than flowers for an added vintage feel!) Modern Funky Tangerine, fuchsia Fall Tangerine, rust, chocolate brown, mustard A truly versatile colour, tangerine tango is sure to be popping up everywhere in weddings for 2012! Stay tuned for more trends to watch out for, and happy wedding planning! |
